Until now, we have always found space to install LAGUR HOME , even where there has been very little space.

The lease agreement runs for 5 years, after which ownership is transferred to the tenant.

limescale is the only thing that can put a Quooker out of operation. Either the aerator will build up limescale if it is not cleaned about once a month, or the effect will be reduced because of the build-up of limescale at the bottom of the Quooker, so it needs to be serviced every 2 to 5 years.

Both parts are something LAGUR water treatment plant ensures that problems rarely arise when the lime is pulverized and disappears from the system, instead of getting stuck.

An aerator divides the water into jets, and will give a harder and more irregular jet of water the longer it is used. limescale deposits This is remedied with LAGUR , as the limescale does not stick in the same way.

LAGUR® does not soften the water. When water is softened using ion exchange, it can have negative consequences for our health. Unfortunately, softening results in more than just the removal of limescale . Among other things, the water's magnesium content is reduced and the salt content is increased. In addition, the natural content of fluoride , which is very important for our teeth, is reduced. Read more in the article: less limescale can cause more cavities

Unlike water softening plants , ours changes chemical-free water treatment solution does not affect the water chemistry and therefore not the taste of the water. Our good Danish drinking water remains natural, unchanged and tasty.

It is expected that there may be some limescale at the bottom of your kettle. This is because when the water boils, the limescale precipitates in the water. When the water cools down, the precipitated limescale settles. The settled limescale will tend to melt to the bottom plate. However, this can almost be avoided by not reheating the water again.

We therefore recommend that you run a cleaning program on your kettle and coffee machine a few times a year. Cleaning programs not only remove limescale , but also degrease the machine's pipe system.

With LAGUR water treatment , the hardness of the water is unchanged, and thus typically hard (has a high dH).

However, the lime in the water behaves differently after treatment with LAGUR .

You should adjust your machines according to the manufacturer's recommendations to a water hardness of around 8-10 dH.

It is still recommended to run regular machine cleaning, which is often referred to as descaling. Machine cleaners have more properties than just descaling. They also degrease the machines.

The hardness of the water is unchanged when the drinking water is treated with LAGUR® .

The total content of dissolved calcium and magnesium in water is referred to as hardness . Hardness is measured in Denmark in German degrees of hardness (°dH = grad Deutsche Härte ), where one degree of hardness corresponds to 10 mg dissolved calcium oxide per liter or 7.19 mg dissolved magnesium oxide per liter.

Hardness [°dH]Division in Denmark
0–4Very soft
4–8Soft
8–12Medium hard
12–18Pretty hard
18–24Hard

Several studies show that it is not healthy to remove the lime from the water, as it causes some problems when the water is used for drinking.

It's not harmful, it's just missing something important, namely the calcium that our body depends on.

Therefore, Lagur water treatment is a good alternative to traditional water softening plants , as the lime is not removed, but pulverized so that it can be wiped off with a cloth. At the same time, the lime, the healthy properties of the water and its good taste are preserved.

Danish water is often hard, and causes limescale problems with deposits in hot water tanks and fittings, which also become dull from the deposits. limescale .

Cisterns, pumps and valves become leaky or less effective when limescale builds up, so they need to be cleaned or replaced.

Coffee machines and electric kettles build up limescale and become less efficient, requiring regular cleaning to remove the limescale.

Traditional water softening plants use salt to remove limescale from the water, which also removes other healthy minerals that we need. A Lagur water treatment plant converts the lime into powder, so that the water resembles lime-free water, where the lime does not deposit and can be wiped off more easily. At the same time, the good quality of the water is maintained.

When the limescale is removed from the water , we must ensure that limescale in other ways, as our bones need limescale The disadvantages of lime-free water are therefore many, even though it is initially nice to avoid limescale in water installations, showers, etc. To make cleaning easier.

With Lagur water treatment the lime is preserved in the water as granules, so that the water content is not changed, only the lime's ability to stick to limescale deposits, and instead be porous and easy to remove.

When you boil water, oxygen is released and limescale is precipitated. This is precisely why it is necessary to descale your kettle and coffee machine from time to time.

There is the same amount limescale in the water at the end, but you can use most of the water with almost no limescale , and therefore boiled water is often considered to be lime-free .
