Minimise limescale problems with water treatment for public housing associations

With a chemical-free water treatment solution from LAGUR® installed on the property's main water pipe, all members of the housing association can enjoy healthy drinking water while minimising the hassle of limescale when cleaning.

Get rid of limescale problems in your housing association

At LAGUR , we care about offering all citizens chemical-free environmentally friendly water treatment that makes it easier to keep homes free of limescale problems, while maintaining good, healthy water quality.

Many tenants in non-profit housing associations are already enjoying these benefits. Today, there are LAGUR -systems in more than 100 Danish non-profit housing associations, and more are added all the time.

Avoid extensive operation and maintenance

The housing companies' feedback to us is often about: LAGUR® has made everyday life easier for those responsible for operation and maintenance.

We typically hear:

  • There are fewer limescale problems in the plumbing installations,
  • There are fewer pipe bursts.
  • The water flows more quietly in the pipes because LAGUR® counteracts the limescale blockages that have previously caused turbulence

We also hear that, after installing LAGUR , operations managers uses far less time than before cleaning hot water tanks, replacing toilets, pipes, and faucets, and performing other maintenance tasks.

Public housing associations are also noticing the impact of their LAGUR plant up: spanon temporary apartments in the form of reduced renovation costs when a resident moves out and a new one moves in.

Achieve less wear for the tenants

In the tenants' place, there is less wear and tear on the cistern, and tiles and fixtures are easier to clean – as if it were lime-free water.

Tenants enjoy a daily life where LAGUR makes it easier and cheaper to clean properly with Swan-labeled chemical-free that do not corrode the joints, so that these do not need to be replaced over time or treated with harsh chemicals.

Therefore, LAGUR is the obvious water treatment solution for non-profit housing associations that care about the environment and do not want to let their residents' entirely understandable desire for comfort and easier daily cleaning compromise the well-being of the planet.

Get waterproof and great range

The water treatment system of LAGUR is typically installed in the basement beneath the property. In the case of a non-profit housing complex with detached or terraced houses, LAGUR can be installed on the main pipe in a communal building, a communal heating plant, or a well in the area.

Regardless of where LAGUR is installed, the effect is so significant that all apartments or homes are guaranteed water without limescale problems.

LAGUR is waterproof, and neither the electronics nor other components will be damaged if the system in the basement or well is flooded.

Short payback with long impact

LAGUR requires no maintenance and comes with no binding service agreement.

The payback period on a LAGUR -installations for non-profit housing associations are typically less than one year.

In return, the environment and nature benefit from the investment in LAGUR for the entire lifetime of the chemical- and maintenance-free plant.

The sustainable solution

LAGUR is built to last – for a very long time. Its expected lifespan is around 30 years, which is why we offer a 10-year warranty on our LAGUR PRO for non-profit housing associations.

LAGUR's sustainability is also reflected in its minimal power consumption. LAGUR consists of a half-meter pipe that is installed after the main water meter and connected to a control unit that uses only about 1 kW, equivalent to approximately $0.35 per day.

In a non-profit housing association with 100 apartments and a total annual water consumption of approximately 8,000 m3, a LAGUR PRO -system only about 350 kWh per year to ensure all residents have healthy, clean water without limescale problems , but still with the natural water composition.

Since LAGUR uses no salt and does not consume any water, there is no wastewater tax, and it is completely clean, natural water that - after passing through LAGUR - ends in our communal sewers and treatment plants.
