LAGUR's ESG Report

With LAGUR We work hard to make our products and operations as responsible as possible – environmentally, socially and economically.

We document this every year in our ESG report and climate accounts, which are available to all professional partners and stakeholders.

An ESG report with concrete value

Although we as a company are not legally required to prepare ESG reporting under the CSRD Directive, we have chosen to take the lead.

Our report is prepared according to the main principles of the new EU standards (ESRS) and enables you as partners to document responsible purchasing in your own sustainability strategies.

We prioritize what matters

We have conducted a so-called dual materiality analysis to ensure that we focus on the ESG themes that are important to society, our environment and our business.

The duality consists of looking at the company's impact on the environment and the environment's impact on the company. This means that our goals and data are based on real impacts – not just general ambitions.

The analysis has been carried out in close collaboration with our management and board of directors and is an important management tool for our further development.

The report provides access to, among other things:

CO2e data at scope 1, 2 and 3 levels

Life cycle information and recycling rates

Targeted insight into our climate goals, social responsibility and governance structure

Preparing to use our EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations)

More sustainable limescale control - without chemicals

LAGUR's technology changes the structure of limescale , so that it does not settle – without adding salt, chemicals or changing the water content. This means:

Fewer deposits in installations
Lower consumption of cleaning agents
No emission of harmful substances into the environment

Our systems are maintenance-free, energy-friendly (from 0.3–1 kWh/day) and manufactured in Denmark.

Climate and CO2: facts from our climate accounts

Our total CO2e emissions for 2023-24:

Scope 1: 0.55 tons
Scope 2: 1.34 tons
Scope 3: 312 tonnes
→ Total: 314 tons CO2e

We actively work to ensure that our products save more CO2 during their lifetime than they cost to produce – and we can document it.

Circular economy and documented recyclability

We work systematically with recycling and circularity:

99.9% of PRO model and 99.5% of HOME -the model can be reused
The packaging is largely plastic-free and made from recycled cardboard.
We offer a REFURBISH concept and extended warranty – especially attractive to housing associations and businesses.
