How does LAGUR work?
LAGUR® is the chemical-free and environmentally friendly alternative to water softening plant, which, unlike LAGUR uses salt refilling and discharge wastewater.
With a combination of electromagnetism and a patented technology that maintains the achieved effect, LAGUR changes the lime in the water from crystalline form (calcite) to granular form (aragonite).
This change significantly reduces the ability of limescale to deposit itself in installations and on surfaces when the water evaporates. This means that your installations and appliances will last longer, and that it will be easier for you to clean without chemicals.
How to install LAGUR ?
LAGUR is a simple and effective water treatment solution that is easy for a plumber to install.
A LAGUR -plant consists of a treatment pipe of about half a meter, connected to a control unit. The treatment pipe is installed in your main water pipe just after the water meter, and the control box is mounted on the wall.
You can either use your own plumber or use a plumber that LAGUR collaborates with in your area and that we find for the job.
Should I choose LAGUR Home or Pro?
LAGUR Home is our solution for private homes and is the environmentally friendly choice for water treatment in your house, apartment, vacation home, or allotment garden.
LAGUR PRO is the environmentally friendly and cost-effective water treatment solution for housing associations, businesses, and other commercial buildings.
What does LAGUR cost?
Both LAGUR HOME and LAGUR PRO can be purchased and rented with or without installation.
LAGUR HOME with installation can be rented for € 55 per month and has no binding contract.
LAGUR HOME without installation can be rented for € 45 per month and has no binding contract.
The lease agreement is valid for five years, after which ownership transfers to you.
You can also buy LAGUR Home € 2,495 with installation and € 1,995 without installation.
The price of LAGUR PRO depends on how many water connections the building has and how many people will use it. Our PRO program ranges in connection from DN20 to DN100.
How much power does LAGUR use?
Whether you choose LAGUR HOME or LAGUR PRO, you get chemical-free water treatment that is inexpensive to operate.
LAGUR HOME uses only approx. 2 kWh per week, corresponding to € 0.5 at average prices (2025), while the power consumption of LAGUR PRO uses approx. 1 kWh per day, which amounts to approx. € 1.5 per week.
Do I need a service agreement?
No, you do not need a service agreement when you choose water treatment from LAGUR. Our systems are designed to last a very long time and are both service- and maintenance-free.
If, unexpectedly, your system needs a technical check during the warranty period, it will be free of charge to you.
LAGUR HOME comes with a five-year warranty, while LAGUR PRO comes with a 10-year warranty.
With the LAGUR Extended warrenty concept, we offer a technical upgrade of your system and the option to purchase a new 10-year warranty.
