The Danish Technological Institute has tested LAGUR's patented technology

In 2020, the Danish Technological Institute conducted an independent test of LAGUR 's chemical-free water treatment The goal was to document whether the technology can reduce limescale deposits in household appliances.

How did you manage? LAGUR take the test

How the test was done

Two identical Siemens washing machines were running under exactly the same conditions – with one difference:

Machine I: without water treatment
Machine II: with LAGUR installed

Over almost two months, the machines ran for a total of just under 200 hours on the same programs. This corresponds to 28-29 weeks of use if a family washes five times a week. The water had a hardness of 15 °dH – that is, fairly hard water.

To ensure accurate measurements, stainless steel plates were mounted on the heating elements, and both water and electricity consumption were logged to document the operating conditions.

Significantly less limescale – and easier to remove

After the test, pictures and microscopy showed that the heating element in the machine with LAGUR had significantly fewer limescale deposits than the heating element in the machine with untreated water.
