LAGUR A/S gets new ownership – new majority ownership paves the way for international expansion
LAGUR A/S is now taking an important step into the next phase of the company's development. A new group of owners has purchased the majority of shares in the company with a clear ambition to invest in and accelerate LAGUR's international expansion.
The new ownership group consists of Jens Obel and Dan Iversen, who will also take up the position of new CEO. LAGUR A/S. With the purchase of the majority shareholding, the ownership group adds both capital and solid management experience with international scaling – particularly within the water sector. Dan Iversen has international management experience from Grundfos, Xylem, Adey and most recently as CEO of Sentinel Performance Solutions, while Jens Obel is co-owner of DK Company.
" LAGUR stands on an exceptionally strong foundation and has proven its relevance and potential with a well-documented solution. This provides a strong starting point for international growth, which we look forward to working on delivering," says Dan Iversen.
The development continues to build on a solid and well-documented foundation. Since its inception in 2014, the company has delivered LAGUR water to more than 50,000 Danes, which is evidence of both technical robustness, market acceptance and high operational reliability. In recognition of the company's green business model and growth, it won LAGUR in 2025 Børsen's national final for the green gazelle.
As a central part of the change of ownership, the current owners – Sune Diernæs, Simon Sørensen and Claus Kjær Jensen – will be retained in key positions in the company. This ensures continuity, deep business understanding and preservation of LAGUR's culture, while strengthening the company with new competencies and international experience.
