LAGUR reduces your need for both washing powder and harsh cleaning agents, and your installations and white goods last longer. LAGUR lasts up to 30 years, is maintenance-free and comes without a binding service agreement. When LAGUR is installed, you don't have to do anything other than enjoy the benefits.

With a LAGUR system installed in your home or housing association, the composition of your private domestic water is exactly the same as always - but you are suddenly free from the problems of limescale that settles on tiles, fixtures and in installations.

Without the use of chemistry, it breaks down LAGUR namely the ability of lime to settle. LAGUR converts the lime in the flowing water from calcite to aragonite, which takes on a powder-like form when it dries and is easy to wipe away.

EASIER CLEANING WITHOUT CHEMICALS

While calcite has a crystalline structure and adheres easily, aragonite has a rounder shape, so the lime does not settle to nearly the same extent as before.

This means that your installations and appliances last longer, and that your cleaning and maintenance of fixtures, tiles, shower cubicles and other wet areas will be much easier because you don't need to use harsh chemicals or harsh cleaning agents to remove the limescale.

You also avoid grout that dissolves and has to be replaced after a few years due to the acid in the harsh cleaning agents.

LAGUR IS maintenance-free AND LIVE LONG

LAGUR is maintenance-free , and there is no binding service agreement included. The system does not require cleaning or refilling with salt and chemical softeners once it is installed. In other words, you do not have to do anything to maintain a LAGUR - plant in progress.

A water treatment plant from LAGUR is designed for an expected lifespan of up to 30 years. In the meantime, you can enjoy everyday life with appliances that last longer and cleaning that has become much easier – without having to resort to harsh cleaning agents.

NEED FOR LESS DETERGENT POWDER

LAGUR also reduces your need for washing powder. Since our washing powder must have a certain washing power – otherwise it wouldn't be washing powder – we cannot avoid using surfactants, which are the substances that remove grease and dirt from clothes.

But if you buy eco-labeled detergents (the Nordic Swan or the European Flower), you get a product that is as environmentally friendly as possible, and with LAGUR installed, you can further protect the environment.

In addition to surfactants, washing powder also contains complexing agents that soften the water, so you avoid lumps and streaks of grease – so-called soap scum. But water reacts to LAGUR in the same way as water treated with a conventional water softening plants , so LAGUR also reduces the need for complexing agents – and that means washing powder in general.
