LAGUR is part of the padel sport's journey in Denmark

The new racket sport padel is Denmark's fastest growing sport. The popular mix of squash and tennis, which was invented by a Mexican in 1969, appeals to all age groups and has spread to many countries around the world in just a few years.

The Danes are also affected by padel fever. According to the Danish Padel Federation, the number of padel courts in Denmark has increased from 14 to 610 from 2016 to 2021, while the number of registered club members has increased from 81 in 2017 to 3,242 in 2020. However, the real number of players is much higher because the majority of Danish courts are located in commercial centers.
