NO. 6: CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION

In Denmark we are privileged. We can turn on the water and drink from the tap without worries. In many other places on the planet the water is contaminated with chemicals and bacteria.

With LAGUR We work to ensure that healthy Danish tap water maintains its status and quality as an easily accessible, top-class food product for the benefit of everyone's health.

Therefore, our water treatment plant no salt and chemicals. LAGUR simply transforms the structure of limescale , so you can more easily maintain your fixtures, tiles and appliances and still enjoy all the natural benefits of water.

NO. 12: RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

LAGUR is cheap to operate. The control box uses approx. 312 watts – 1 kW per day, corresponding to a maximum of 2.50 kroner. Unlike conventional water softening plants it produces LAGUR not wastewater, and how common water softening plants requires the addition of large amounts of salt, uses LAGUR not salty at all.

An ordinary water softening plants typically uses one kilo of salt per 1,000 litres of water. In an average apartment that uses 100 cubic metres of water per year, this amounts to 100 kg of salt per apartment – and 4 tonnes of salt per year in total, if the property has, for example, 40 apartments.

LAGUR also makes it cheaper and easier to clean with Swan-labeled products without chemicals. Ordinary chemical cleaning agents gradually corrode the joints, so that they will eventually need to be renovated or replaced. In a property with LAGUR Limescale does not settle on the surfaces and can be easily wiped off with a cloth

NO. 14. LIFE IN THE SEA

Both pollution and so-called acidification harm animal and plant life in the world's oceans. In step with industrialization and our emissions of CO2, the pH value in the oceans has fallen because the ocean water absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere. For many organisms in the ocean, life is linked to narrow pH ranges.

With its low power consumption and by not using salt and chemicals, it reduces LAGUR the carbon footprint we create when we want a home without limescale problems .

LAGUR also uses less water and does not discharge wastewater with chemical residues – benefiting the global water cycle and life in the world's oceans.
