HOW TO SUPPORT LAGUR UN GLOBAL GOALS
LAGUR directly supports three of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. These are Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12) and Life in the Ocean (SDG 14).
No. 6: LAGUR does not use salt and chemicals. LAGUR simply transforms the structure of limescale , so you can more easily maintain your fixtures, tiles and appliances and still enjoy all the benefits of natural water.
No. 12: Contrary to conventional water softening plants produces LAGUR not sewage. And how common water softening plants requires the addition of large amounts of salt – typically 100 kilos of salt per 100 cubic meters of water – uses LAGUR not salty at all. LAGUR is also built to last a long time – a very long time. The expected lifespan of a LAGUR -systems are around 30 years old, and therefore we also provide a 10-year guarantee on our LAGUR PRO -models for companies and housing companies.
No. 14: LAGUR does not discharge wastewater with chemical residues. Both pollution and so-called acidification harm animal and plant life in the world's oceans. In step with industrialization and our emissions of CO2, the pH value in the oceans has fallen (acidification) because the ocean water absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere, and for many of the organisms in the ocean, life is linked to narrow pH ranges.
OTHER ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF LAGUR
LAGUR makes it cheaper and easier to clean with Swan-labeled products without chemicals. Ordinary chemical cleaning agents gradually corrode the joints, so they will eventually need to be renovated or replaced.
LAGUR 's sustainability is also reflected in minimal power consumption. LAGUR PRO uses only about 1 kW, equivalent to about 2.50 kroner per day, while LAGUR HOME for the detached house only uses approximately 0.3 kW, equivalent to approximately 0.75 øre per day.
