Water Day 2025

March 22nd is Water Day again.

World Water Day was introduced by the UN in 1993 and each year focuses on the importance of water - for people, nature and the planet.

It is a day when we are reminded across the globe that access to clean drinking water is not something we should take for granted.

At LAGUR we work with water every day. Not as a commodity, but as a value. We work to preserve the natural quality of water – without chemicals – while helping our customers to avoid the nuisance of limescale .

But on Water Day, we raise our gaze a little extra. Because we know that we are privileged.

In Denmark we can turn on the tap and drink the water without worries. It's not like that everywhere. Millions of people struggle with water shortages, pollution and inequality.

This makes water much more than a resource – it makes it a global shared responsibility.

That's why we mark March 22nd.

Because water is life. Because it is our common future.
