water treatment

Our water treatment plant is operation and maintenance-free, as it does not require cleaning or refilling with salt and chemical softeners.

What is water treatment ?

Water treatment is any process that improves water quality to adapt the water content to a specific type of end user.

The most popular type of water treatment is done to reduce or remove limescale in the water.

If you remove the limescale, it is often done with chemicals, and this has some drawbacks both in terms of removing limescale with chemistry, but also with removing limescale in general, as minerals and important substances in the water are also removed.

The environmentally friendly way to treat water is to use electromagnetism and stabilizing frequencies to transform the lime from its classic crystalline form, which binds in deposits, to a powder-like state called aragonite, which does not bind.

There are two types water treatment

LAGUR non-chemical water treatment

Water comes up from the ground where we stand, live and breathe, and LAGUR 's water treatment plant is both developed and produced in Denmark. At the same time, it is our philosophy in LAGUR that healthy, Danish water is in many ways perfect as it is.

From a health perspective, the calcium content is a sign of quality, because water, together with limescale collects many minerals on its way through the soil layers. That is why LAGUR does not remove the limescale, but simply changes its shape.

Chemical water treatment

The traditional water softening plants removes the limescale chemically, but also changes the chemical composition and taste of the water.

Why choose a LAGUR® water treatment plant?

With a LAGUR® water treatment plant You will feel like you have a limescale-free home.

LAGUR CHANGES the structure of limescale

LAGUR uses a completely different method than the solutions on the market, which are sometimes referred to as lime splitters or something that crushes the lime. LAGUR minimizes your limescale problems by changing itself the structure of limescale and not just by breaking down the lime into smaller parts.

LAGUR also differs significantly from the solutions on the market that are referred to as “ water softening plants ". In practice, they reduce the water's calcium content by a few degrees of hardness in a chemical process, which in turn increases the water's sodium content. LAGUR is a hero chemical-free and environmentally friendly water treatment solution.

Many people ask how much it costs to get a lime-free home. LAGUR .

The answer is that it depends on how many people will be using the system. By using our calculator on this page you can see how much it costs if you have several homes that are joining together. LAGUR -installations in your property or building.

How LAGUR water treatment works

LAGUR water treatment plant consists of a half-meter pipe that is installed after the main water meter and connected to a control unit , which uses approximately 1 kW per day, equivalent to approximately 2.50 kroner.

We deliver with a 10-year warranty. Our water treatment plant is operation and maintenance-free, as it does not require cleaning or refilling with salt and chemical softeners.

With electrical frequencies, LAGUR water treatment the lime in the flowing water from calcite to aragonite . In this process, the lime changes form from triangular crystals to a granular form, which turns into powder when it dries and is easy to wipe off with a cloth.

In addition, there are the environmental benefits. LAGUR makes cleaning easier with Swan-labeled products without chemicals. Conventional cleaning agents gradually corrode the joints, so they will eventually need to be renovated or replaced.

Where others water treatment plant requires large amounts of salt, uses LAGUR no salt.
