LAGUR was founded in 2014, and it has been 10 fun and busy years, where our facility for chemical-free water treatment has proven to appeal strongly and broadly to both professional customers and private consumers.

In 2024 – specifically on August 8 – it will be 10 years since LAGUR was founded. And it has been 10 fun and busy years!

We are both proud of and grateful for the great and ever-growing interest in our facility. chemical-free water treatment .

LAGUR appeals broadly and strongly to both businesses and private customers. We are experiencing that both professional customers and private consumers are increasingly concerned with agendas such as sustainability and reduction of CO2 and resource consumption – global challenges that our products have addressed ever since our first system was launched in 2014.

YES TO limescale – NO TO limescale problems

The story of LAGUR starts with Danish engineer and inventor Olav René Nielsen, who developed a new type of water treatment that could eliminate limescale problems without removing the limescale from the water.

In 2014, Olav René Nielsen founded LAGUR together with co-founders Claus Kjær Jensen and Simon Sørensen.

Beforehand, the three founders had thoroughly tested the new water treatment plant in various contexts where large amounts of water were used.

TESTING THE FIRST SYSTEMS

Thus, the first three water treatment plant were installed at a pig farm, a mink farm, and a hotel.

When the efficiency of the systems was evaluated after six months, there was no mistaking it: In the hotel, cleaning the toilets, wet room tiles and fittings had become much easier, so everything looked nice and new for the guests. The pig farmer had not cleaned nozzles for six months, and the mink farmer had no problems with limescale and biofilm in the pex pipes.

However, it soon became clear that residential buildings with multiple apartments benefit greatly from LAGUR , and today, non-profit housing, cooperative housing and homeowners' associations constitute the largest customer segment at LAGUR .

But LAGUR appeals to all target groups who value chemical-free water treatment for easier cleaning and maintenance of installations and machines.

And since the beginning of 2014, LAGUR now installed many thousands of systems in Danish detached houses, apartment buildings, companies, shopping centers and office buildings, etc.

We look forward to continuing the work for the next 10 years!
